It would be awesome if there were customs maps already included in the game.

Such as pre-WW1 and pre-WW2

No micro states

Certain moments in history

Gibraltar cant be painted

The capacity to name saves differently would be nice. The issue is mainly that I have more than 3 saves, I keep the others in other folders. The game only works with saves named "Save x" which gives no clue what the saves is about in the folders.

Or I guess just more saves slot would help!

Also, when there is unclaimed land, a country in an union sometimes colonizes it on its own.

Example : the union France-Uk exists (and there is no other France or Uk) and then unclaimed land gets taken by just France.

Other example : Netherlands-Belgium-Luxembourg exists (and there is not other N. B or L) and unclaimed land gets taken by just Netherlands-Belgium. The 2 unions continue to exist together.

Thank you for updating. There are still many provinces that cant be "painted" to change who it belongs.

Couples i noticed : Gibraltard, West Switzerland (greater Geneva), 3 islands on the coast of British Columbia (Canada)

Southern Serbia also bugs when painted

British Columbia is misspelled

Sometimes you cannot click on countries to see their name, you have to refresh the map to do so.

Thanks to your discord, i was able to create nations, but 1-5 pixels provinces like islands make it very annoying.

With the new update, it is not possible to click on countries to see their names.

Also, the cursor is not worth using due to the scrolling time.

Good job for the rest!

For cultures, I would make New-Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island as one single culture. You could call it Maritimes, it is how it is refered here in Canada.

When playing with provinces on, the Northern part of Maine is called USA which seems off. Same for Puerto Rico being just USA.

At some point it would be fair to make less provinces for smaller islands or more provinces for some continental places. For example, Nunavut has 67 provinces and Greeland 19 despiste being similar sizes. It makes Nunavut more vulnerbale to events related to coastlines and less vulnerbale to be completely erased from the map. The same could be said when you compare Panama with 15 provinces and Québec culture with only 5 or comparing Brasil with 32 and Chile with 49.

I am curious by how you dicided to divide the world and countries into provinces?  Do you aim to make every province with a similar size, a similar population or a similar development?

Hi! When a country expands, it should prioritize getting back its original territory (if it has lost some).  I makes more sense for a nation to try to get back original lands that was taken.

If a country has an empire and loses land, it should be less likely to lose original lands than the ones they colonized.

It has not happened recently, but at the end when there's like 2-3 nations left, the bigger one should have a higher chance to win. Idk its weird and seems not deserved when a microstate annexes the whole world to pull out the win.

Martinique is misspelled as Martinque

I did not realize there was a topic on suggestions, I'll post there next time!

Hello, thank you for the game I love it! I paid for it to support you and I'd like to give some feedback :)

It feels pointless when a state with 1 territory is announced to shrink but nothing happens. I think microstate should be eliminated during that event.

Some states expansion are unclear. Maybe an island that does not appear on screen gets taken, but it feels like nothing happens sometimes. Maybe some adjustement could be needed there. Also, islands could have a circle drawn around them with the name of who controls it to make it more interesting for island nations and colonization later on.

Some annexation take territory according to modern day borders. For example, Finland lost territory to Russia. Then, Sweden annexes Finland but Sweden also gets the territory that Russia got earlier. If Finland had taken territory from Estonia before the annexation, Sweden would get it, so that works at least!

I bought the game yesterday I will probably give more feedback, love what you do, have a good day!
